— Background

Héctor Pérez Wario is General Director of STEM High School. Héctor obtained a double degree with honors in civil engineering from Universidad Panamericana, Campus Guadalajara and HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht in the Netherlands and a diploma in structural engineering from Imperial College London. In 2015 he obtained a Master of Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Héctor has more than 10 years of experience as a project engineer, project manager and business development manager in two of the largest tensile structures firms, which has allowed him to participate in the construction of world-renowned projects such as the stadiums for the FIFA World Cup in Brazil and the Transportation System of the City of Monterrey. Héctor is passionate about social innovation projects. With Unilever he has worked on various projects to boost low-income communities by giving them access to education and technology.
