Héctor Pérez Wario

Héctor is a Civil Engineer and Project Manager with over 10 years of experience in large infrastructure projects across Latin America. He received a joint bachelor’s degree with honors from both Universidad Panamericana, campus Guadalajara, Mexico and Hogeschool Utrecht in The Netherlands. He also holds a diploma in Structural Engineering from Imperial College London and a Master of Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology – MIT.

He has worked as Project Engineer, Project Manager and Business Development Manager for two of the world’s largest firms of Tensile Architecture Structures, where he participated in the building of worldwide recognized projects, such as Brazil’s FIFA World Cup Stadiums and Monterrey’s Metropolitan light train. He also has a passion in social innovation projects. For Unilever, he has worked in several endeavors, gathering efforts to develop low-income comminutes around the world by given them access to education and technology.

Héctor research interests are focused on construction management, transportation sustainability projects
